I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) currently located in Denver, Colorado.
I have been teaching yoga in the U.S. and Europe since 2000. I teach Vinyasa-Flow, Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist & Holistic Health Practitioner extensively trained in various forms of therapeutic massage & bodywork. I currently teach group classes at YogaSix in Northfield and virtual yoga classes with OM Body. Furthermore, I am available for in person & virtual private yoga lessons. Private classes have a therapeutic approach and are customized to meet the needs of each individual. In addition to yoga, sessions may include mindfulness meditation & pranayama (breathwork).
I am incredibly grateful to have discovered yoga over 25 years ago. As someone who has personally struggled with anxiety since childhood, finding yoga was profound. I know firsthand how immensely healing & transformative this practice can be. Yoga and the mindfulness it cultivates has given me the tools to manage life’s many challenges. My daily practice has gifted me with an emotional, mental, and spiritual awakening. Additionally, yoga has kept my body strong & open so I can move through life with more physical ease & age more gracefully.
I draw upon many years of experience and extensive studies of yoga & bodywork to create classes that are intelligently sequenced to safely ease the body open. I strive to create an experience on the mat that is informative, inspiring, empowering, and supportive. Emphasis on self love & self acceptance are constant themes in my classes. I believe through breath awareness & intuitive movement we can access our greatest teacher, our inner wisdom.
